The project titled “Determining the Readability Levels of Turkish Texts Using Natural Language Processing Methods and Deep Learning” has been awarded TÜBİTAK 1001 funding.

The project titled “Determination of Turkish Text Readability Levels Using Natural Language Processing Methods and Deep Learning,” in which Dr. Caner BALIM, a faculty member in the Software Engineering Department at Afyon Kocatepe University, is a researcher, has been awarded funding under the TUBITAK 1001 projects program.

The project, led by Dr. Naim KARASEKRETER, a faculty member in the Computer Engineering Department at Afyon Kocatepe University, also includes Dr. Özkan ASLAN as a researcher. The TUBITAK 1001 project, titled “Determination of Turkish Text Readability Levels Using Natural Language Processing Methods and Deep Learning,” has been awarded funding of 1,550,000 TL. The project, which will involve 5 researchers and 7 scholarship recipients, will investigate ways to measure the readability of Turkish texts using deep learning methods, taking into account the rich structure and complexity unique to the Turkish language.
