An information meeting was held on February 2, 2026, in Meeting Room 202 of our Faculty to share developments related to the TÜBİTAK-1001 funded project titled “Detection of Living Beings Outside the Field of View Using Artificial Intelligence with Laser and Sound Signals.”
During the meeting, innovative approaches developed for earthquake search and rescue operations, the progress achieved so far within the project, and the technical studies carried out were presented. The event also provided detailed insights into the analyses conducted on detecting living beings using laser and sound signals. In addition, information was shared about the current infrastructure and ongoing work of the “Beyond Insight Research and Analysis” laboratory, which supports the project processes.
Following the presentations, participants’ questions were addressed, and an exchange of ideas took place regarding the project’s technological outputs and the laboratory’s practical capabilities.
