As part of the technical visit organized by the Software Engineering Department, our students visited ASELSAN, one of Türkiye’s leading defense industry organizations. During the visit, students had the opportunity to gain detailed insights into ASELSAN’s ongoing projects, software systems, and engineering processes.
In presentations delivered by ASELSAN engineers, topics such as the role of software in defense technologies, project development stages, and current technologies in the sector were discussed. Students enhanced their professional perspectives by observing how theoretical knowledge is applied in the industry.
The technical visit not only contributed to our students’ career planning but also once again highlighted the importance of university–industry collaboration. Our department will continue to organize such activities that support the professional development of our students.
