The Department of Software Engineering, located within the Faculty of Engineering at Afyon Kocatepe University, was established as one of the university’s newest academic units. The department began its academic activities by accepting its first students in the 2024-2025 academic year. From its inception, it has adopted a curriculum approach that is both current and application-oriented, aiming to equip students with software development, project management, and innovative solution-generation skills in addition to theoretical knowledge.
